Audoux Minet Chair, 1950's
Product Description
A tripod rope chair by Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet, designed in France during the 1950s. Characteristic of the duo’s modernist sensibility, the piece pairs a restrained wooden frame with hand-woven rope, resulting in a sculptural form that balances utility and texture.
Presented in original condition, with minor losses to the wood and gentle wear to the rope surface, consistent with age. A quietly expressive example of mid-century French design, valued for its craftsmanship and material honesty.
