Kyss - Ishbel Lowther

Unframed

Ishbel Lowther (UK) is a London-based painter whose work centres on fleeting moments of physical connection and quiet exchange. Her paintings depict bodies, landscapes, and objects suspended outside of fixed time or place, capturing gestures that feel both intimate and transient. Through close-touching forms, pressed surfaces, and delicate contact, Lowther explores the emotional charge of physical communication, revealing the vulnerability, tension, and poetic force held within a single gesture.
